What happens when a wildfire forces 3,500 people to evacuate into your community and you are a GP, pharmacist, primary care professional needing to lead your community through the crisis…
Primary Response: Primary Care Under Fire is a new tabletop game that puts you at the center of a disaster response where every decision has consequences. You’ll negotiate medication shortages as a GP with a pharmacist while you’re rationing supply. You’ll decide if an Aged Care facility can accept vulnerable evacuees when your staff are already stretched thin. You’ll watch early efficiencies create later crises as the system feedback loops reveal themselves.
This isn’t a game about clinical knowledge. It’s about coordination under pressure. Each player controls a different primary care service with competing priorities and limited resources.
Designed for interprofessional education, leadership training, and disaster preparedness workshops, Primary Response works for both clinicians and non-clinicians. You don’t need gaming experience or healthcare background — just a willingness to negotiate, adapt, and discover how siloed decision-making degrades collective outcomes.
**Coming 2026.**
Primary Response will be available for classroom use, conference workshops, and professional development programs.
